Terry Bison Ranch

I would like to invite you to the Colorado Wyoming border. We will go to the Terry Bison Ranch where you will have a chance to feed bison from your own hands. It will take us about 1.5 hours to get there from Denver. First, we will stop at SE Wyoming Visitor Center where you will learn about the first state where women received the right to vote. After that, we will visit Terry Bison Ranch which is famous because in 1903 President Theodore Roosevelt was among the honored guests there. At that time this ranch belonged to the Wyoming Senator F.E. Warren. We will have plenty of time to look at different animals, to go to the souvenir store, and to take pictures on the top of the Bison and Jackalope.  At 12:00 we will depart on a small train from the ranch station and we will go to the buffalo herd, where we can feed these buffalo from our hands. This is a terrific feeling because these huge and dangerous animals will come so close to you to get their treat. After that, we will return to the farm and we will go to the Senator’s Restaurant which is famous for the best buffalo ribs and burgers in the USA. We tried both and these dishes are delicious! On the way back to Denver, we will stop in Longmont at the Cheese Importers store to get some cheese from different parts of the world. When we get home, we have a lot of stories to tell our friends about our one-day experience with buffalo.
