Tour to Rocky Mountain National Park

Tour to Rocky Mountain National Park 10-12 hours

We'll drive through the beautiful city of Boulder. The University of Colorado is located there with about 34000 students on the main campus. We'll make a stop at the visitor center at Estes Park, the town at the eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. RMNP is more than 100 years old, one of our oldest national parks. We'll take the truly spectacular road over the mountains, at the top of which is another visitor center. If we're lucky we might see a moose, more commonly big horn sheep and likely some marmots - but for sure you'll see the mountains for which Colorado is so famous. Among them is Longs Peak. Many people try to climb it every year, but it is a very difficult mountain and definitely not for everyone. We will leave the park from the western entrance and drive past beautiful Grand Lake. If time and weather permit, we could have a boat ride on the lake.
